The Università della Svizzera italiana, Accademia di architettura, is seeking to fill one position as Full Professor in Contemporary Architectural Theory and Criticism
The candidate must have a degree in architecture, awarded by a Polytechnic institute or a University and attained excellence in teaching, research, and in the area of architectural criticism. He or she should:

  • have either a PhD in architectural theory or a PhD in the history of modern and contemporary architecture as well as experience in setting up and implementing research projects;
  • demonstrate a solid professional experience in architectural theory and criticism;
  • have successfully obtained or intend to apply for third-party funding;
  • previous teaching appointments.
