The Institute of Constructive Design at ZHAW Zurich is offering a PhD position as part of the SNF-funded project “Geschichte der ‘Öko-Architektur’ in der Schweiz, 196X-199X. Eine architekturhistorische, korpuslinguistische und gendertheoretische Analyse.” The project focuses on the role of female architects and engineers within the eco-movement in Switzerland from the 1960s until the 1990s.
We seek candidates with a Master’s degree in Architecture, Architectural History/Theory, Art History, or a related Humanities and Social Sciences discipline. Proficiency in German and good English skills are required. Experience with publications, archival research, and interviews is highly desirable.
