How does cultural exchange shape European identity? Editor Sabine Frommel presents the renowned book series European Identities and Transcultural Exchange, published by De Gruyter.

The series focuses on the role of art in the transformation of Europe during the Early Modern period—through the migration of artists, the circulation of ideas, techniques, and artistic models.
