The 5th International Conference on Architecture and Interior Design (ICAD2026): Change and Resilience in the 21st Century

The International Conference on Architecture & Interior Design (ICAD) is a biennial conference series, started in 2018, and hosted by Tishk International University in Erbil, Iraq. This year, the 5th edition of ICAD is jointly organized by Tishk International University and Koya University, to be held on April 28-29, 2026.

Focusing on the Change and Resilience in the 21st Century, this two-day conference aims at providing an international interdisciplinary platform that brings together academic scientists, researchers and scholars to share the latest advances and research findings in the fields of Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, and other relevant fields.

We are delighted to invite contributions that reflect on and raise attention to the various aspects of change and resilience in the 21st century-built environment. This is an in-person conference; yet, it allows international authors only to participate with online presentations.

Tishk International University and Koya University have arranged a range of tours along with social and cultural activities to provide attendees with the opportunity to learn more about Erbil and Koysanjaq significant history and cultural atmosphere. The conference will foster a vibrant academic environment featuring lectures by local and international keynote speakers.
