The first articles of the 2014 open issue of Architectural Histories are now online. Mari Lending discusses the Permanent Collection of Norwegian architecture, established in the 1920s and now rescued from oblivion, while Cathy D. Smith examines the relation between DIY-architecture and notions of social transformation between the 1940s and 1970s.
Architectural Histories still accepts submissions for the 2014-issue. Thanks to a generous grant from the Dutch Science Foundation, accepted submissions for this issue will be exempt from Article Processing Fees.
The next Special Collection is due for publication in June. The journal will publish the Call for Papers for the 2015 Special Collection at the third EAHN conference in Turin.
