Job: Tenure Track Position in Architecture. Toronto, Ryerson University

Located in downtown Toronto, the largest and most culturally diverse city in Canada and on the ​territory of the ​Anishinaabeg, Haudenosaunee and the Wendat Peoples, ​ the ​Department of Architectural Science in the ​Faculty of Engineering and Architectural Science at ​Ryerson University welcomes applications for a tenure track position at the rank of Assistant Professor effective 1 July 2021 subject to final budgetary approval.
The successful candidate will be required to teach undergraduate and/or graduate design studio and lecture/seminar courses; to supervise graduate design theses; to undertake scholarly, research, and/or creative activities; and to engage in service activities. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of the tectonic nature of buildings tempered with an understanding of architectural theory and will have expertise in one or more of the following areas: architectural history/theory/criticism, sustainable design and/or digital design​.
