2014 RIBA Research Trust Awards – Call for Entries

The Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) is calling for applications from individuals interested in conducting new research into architecture. The RIBA Research Trust Award will make grants of up to £10,000 available to support original independent architecture research by practitioners, academics and recent graduates.
The awards scheme is open to applicants interested in a wide range of subject matter relevant to the advancement of architecture, and connected arts and sciences, in the United Kingdom. The committee will support a closely-defined piece of practice-led or academic research, but it will not support course fees and subsistence costs for PhD/MPhil or Masters programmes. Awards are given only to named individuals, not organisations. Applicants based outside the UK are also eligible to apply; however the research work must in the main be undertaken within the United Kingdom.
The deadline to apply is 2 June 2014. For more information, visit http://www.architecture.com/researchfunding  or e-mail Hayley Russell on hayley.russell@riba.org.
