two Lecturer posts in Architectural History & Urban Studies at Glasgow School of Art

There are two posts for lecturers in architectural history that are currently being advertised at the Mackintosch School of Arcihtecture, Glasgow School of Art. Both jobs are for teaching positions in history of architecture/urban studies and do not involve studio teaching other than occasional participation in crits/studio projects. Expertise in history of architecture/urban studies is key. They are looking for candidates who are able to start soon.
1. Lecturer, 1.0 FTE, permanent – This will be the successor for Bob Proctor, who will leave our school in July to take on a position at the University of Bath. They are looking for a scholar with who can demonstrate achievements in the field. The position involves teaching, self-directed research and administrative duties. 2. Lecturer 0.4 FTE (2 days per week) for 2 years, fixed term  – This is a teaching cover for Florian Urban for the two years that he will be working on a Leverhulme Trust-financed research project.
