The History, Theory, and Criticism program at MIT thus invites graduate students from architectural history, art history, communication studies, anthropology, and other related disciplines whose research broadly addresses the role of polemic. In particular, the call is interested in historical and contemporary case studies of polemical projects and ambitions, as well as theoretical considerations of the role of the polemic today.
The full call for papers and the conference theme can be accessed here.
Please submit abstracts of approximately 250 words and curriculum vitae, to polemicMIT@gmail.com by 1st June 2017 for consideration.
