Call for Papers: Sense of Past and Sense of Place. Designing Heritage Tourism. Venice, 14-16 September 2020

The network of schools of architecture Designing Heritage Tourism Landscapes promotes an international conference at Iuav University of Venice.
Entitled Sense of Past and Sense of Place. Designing Heritage Tourism, the conference will take place at Badoer Palace on 14-16 September 2020.
The aim of the conference is to investigate the relation between heritage, use, tourist enhancement and project at the architectural urban and landscape scale.

At the same address, the ways of participation are explained and it’s possible to download the call for papers in PDF format.
Those who are interested in participating, are invited to submit an abstract (min. 1500 and max. 3000 characters) in one of the conference’s languages (Italian, English), filling in the online form, including maximum of 3 images, 5 bibliographical references and a short author’s bio, no later than 27 April 2020.
The scientific committee will select the best proposals to be included in the conference sessions. Accepted contributes of registered participants will be displayed in the official program and published in the Book of abstracts with ISBN number.
At the end of the conference, authors will be invited to send an extended paper for the Conference Proceedings.
