DocTalks

CALL FOR PRESENTATIONS & SESSIONS FALL 2022

DocTalks welcomes session and presentation proposals on any topic within the broad fields of architectural history and its related disciplines. Some of the themes DocTalks is currently interested in are the Global South and postcolonial urban theories, objects and texts that go beyond architectural authorship, architectural fictions, architectural mediations (alongside mediations of architecture), and finally, materiality, objecthood and the lives of things.

If you would like to present your work or organize a session, please send your proposal to doctalks.contact@gmail.com by AUGUST 15. For more details on this, see the Submit tab on our website https://doctalks.net/

CALL FOR ‘DocTalks x MoMA’ FALL 2022

Organizers are also delighted to announce that, beginning in Fall 2022, DocTalks will be collaborating with The Emilio Ambasz Institute at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA); a global, pioneering incubator of research on the relationship between the built and natural environment. The collaboration will begin with a series of sessions dedicated to ongoing investigations conducted by doctoral, postdoctoral or early career researchers on the expansive entanglement of architecture with the natural environment.

If you are interested in this initiative and would like to present in these sessions, please send an email with your proposal to doctalks.contact@gmail.com by AUGUST 15, indicating ‘DocTalks x MoMA’ in the subject line. For more info on the Ambasz Institute’s research agenda, please visit https://www.moma.org/research-and-learning/ambasz/
