Exhibition: "100 New Objects" — The Bauhaus-Archiv, Berlin (18 March – 25 May, 2015)

The Bauhaus-Archiv / Museum für Gestaltung in Berlin
Exhibition: “100 new objects: selected purchases and generous gifts” (18 March –25 May, 2015)
The collection of the Bauhaus-Archiv is growing. Carefully selected purchases and, above all, generous gifts have made this possible even in times of limited funds. For the first time the current exhibition shows a selection of 80 new acquisitions from all areas of our collection which have entered our institution within the last ten years. Works by Marcel Breuer, Marianne Brandt, Lyonel Feininger, László Moholy-Nagy, Oskar Schlemmer and Alma Siedhoff-Buscher can be seen. Particular emphasis has been placed on photography. Photos by Werner David Feist, Paul Citroen, Yasuhiro Ishimoto and Nathan Lerner present a fascinating spectrum of modern photography between the Bauhaus and the New Bauhaus.
